What is your favorite type of art to create?

I create three dimensional worlds within a sculptural BoxArt environment. Utilizing original photos and or video along with custom made three dimensional figures I stage them in layers within the Box Art sculpture. I love designing and creating these one of a kind objects of art that carry a story based on the relationship between the characters and specific imagery. I basically set the stage within the sculpture to convey messages that inspire the mind the heart and the spirit towards enlighten

Where do you find inspiration?

My background as a Box Artist came about by working in the New York theater world. I started as an actor and then a stage manager and eventually set designer. My inspiration comes from working with the gifted director Tom O'Horgan and set designer Robin Wagner. Their collaborations brought forth ground breaking productions and I learned my craft by working side by side with them. So the kind of art that I now create is to some degree interactive and integrates all mediums like video and sound.

What would you do with $25,000?

I have designed an amazing three dimensional wearable art watch that I would love to have created as a collectable and the prototype has been three d printed and I have a potential Italian watch company interested to hand craft a limited edition. I would use the twenty five thousand dollars in order to get this concert produced. The name for the series is MarcTime. This will be an extension of my BoxArt creations and will be included in an art exhibition called BoxArtDreams. A multi media event.
