As a life time drummer, slowing down fashion a little by upcycling busted cymbals, ‘sounds’ good ✨. MUSIC TO YOUR EYES

I LOVE making Music. In particular I’ve been blessed over the years with the opportunity to dive deep into west African Rhythms(Ghana) … this music is so spirited it usually takes over, in the best kind of way…it’s healing. The Music led me to upcycling busted cymbals into accessories…… so I’m forever greatful and rarely surprised anymore how the universe listens and provides opportunities. I have grown equally passionate about working the ol metal that was once played on bandstands ?
Where do you find inspiration?Arguably- I’m off and on, ‘on the spectrum’ :)… I find that Time and space measure differently for me…. The rhythms I get to co create with my mind and hands…. And the wearables I shape from the old busted cymbals allllllll seeeeem to have always existed …. I just happen to be a lucky channel, pretty regularly. It’s everywhere… creation. Stardust- I promise. Time and space matter :). Inspiration is ready in the breath. -Collin Galyean We all belong here, NOW.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy some groceries for my fam. I would donate a couple grand to the food pantry/women’s shelter down the street. I’d put a couple grand toward a car for my daughter…. Put a littttttle bit in my sock drawer :) …. And then with the rest I would take my folks on a trip …. They are exceptional human beings who have always led by example supporting their community with big big love. And if there’s ANY $ leftover AfTER - I would get my van detailed lol…. ✌️❤️☀️ THEY inspire me:) ❤️
