I am a songwriter who paints with acrylics, I also make stop motion videos where i paint the scenes, create the characters and the song. I like to dabble in all kinds of creative things but the art agency i work for in Los Angeles mostly has me drawing cartoons for teenagers. So I think out of everything, making a dreamy, strange, playful painting is what I am best at and enjoy most. My fans also like to buy them on instagram so it keeps me motivated.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through watching old creative shows like Looney Tunes, Pee Wee's Playhouse or Liquid Television on MTV (old YouTube videos) from a time when people had to use their brains for originality and creativity, before AI, before Google even.
What would you do with $25,000?I would start a kids show that gives jobs to artists and musicians...a place where zany creatives can be themselves..or maybe a non-profit art company for troubled teens, a club to come bang on drums, to make a sculpture and meet friends, to make stop motion music videos or paint together, work on concepts and ideas. Community based of course.
