What is your favorite type of art to create?

I am a writer,actor,painter…storyteller... I'm artistic. I consider it all storytelling with different mediums. I created children, which felt like a perfect art. I raised them as a single parent with dreams. I have yet to do everything I want to like learn new techniques so I'm not sure what will end up my favourite. I am most fond of not drawing and doing what the canvas tells me, exposing the painting or subject that I feel is there. With Art you have to be open to it, just the experience.

Where do you find inspiration?

Some people look to God, or Nature or to Humanity for inspiration. I am inspired by being a part of the history of feeling. Art has been a part of the expression of all things, and I want to feel it. I want to have left emotion in my place on the planet. The emotion that I give and get through Art is not tangible, but the painting, performance and writing is. I'm inspired to think that Art is a translation of all things into a language that we can all share, perhaps with no words.

What would you do with $25,000?

I'm at a point in my life that there's so much more to learn and to see and people I'd love to meet. I would travel to five countries and go there and paint in them, meet local people, learn their stories, be inspired by whatever moves me. I'd write a book or a screenplay along the way, because I'm not foolish not to do all kinds of creative at the same time. My hidden secret while creating new work is probably spending $25,000 finding the perfect cup of coffee and the people to share it with.
