What is your favorite type of art to create?

Ive been an artist my entire life. It’s the only way I know how to see the world. My favorite art to create is the kind that lets me build a world of my own. I turn emotion into something real—colors, shapes, and surreal spaces that express what words can’t. As an autistic creator, that control helps me navigate an overwhelming world. It becomes both an escape and a way to understand myself, transforming feelings, trauma, and everyday struggles into something I can exist within and shape freely.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in emotions I can’t always put into words, everyday struggles, and memories that feel heavier than they should. I experience the world intensely—through patterns, textures, sounds, and small details that often go unnoticed, and that shapes how I see everything. A lot of my inspiration also comes from my inner child, who can still find beauty in the world even when things are difficult. I think that perspective is worth holding onto, and worth creating.

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d set aside funds to directly support others. whether that’s providing supplies to young artists, partnering w/ local organizations, or creating spaces where people who don’t usually have access to art can participate. Such as homeless shelters. Everyone deserves a space they can create their own creative escape. For me, art isn’t just about creating something beautiful,it’s about making people feel seen, connected, & inspired. I’d want that $25,000 to multiply its impact by doing exactly that
