mostly mixed media. I love mixing charcoal , acrylics and oil stick. I love doing abstract the most because it’s always interpreted in so many different ways. Some will say “that’s beautiful “ others will find the same piece slightly disturbing . I love the contrast.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from the energy of every city i’ve lived in. From the beautiful Los Angeles aesthetic , yet seeing the despair that looms over the city where dreams come true and fail. And now in NYC. I see the beautiful and the grotesque every day.
What would you do with $25,000?Finish a new series of paintings and setting up my brand I’ve been working on forever. Money doesn’t rule my work ever. I paint for me, but at my age, it sure would help.
