Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in my culture and traditions while trying to ballance my traditional ways in a modern world and creating art is an outlet for me when things are uncertain in todays society. Everyone is different and we all walk different paths, so the way we see things is different from one another, doesn't mean its rite or wrong, keeping an open mind and seeing different point of view keeps me open to excepting the daily flow of creativity that comes to me on a daily basis.
What would you do with $25,000?As an active duty service member in the US NAVY transitioning back into the civilian side, winning would help me take the next step finding a place to call my own and have a studio to create pieces that will forever have an impact on those who appreciate indigenous art and be an inspiration to our youth who carry our stories and traditions through traditional arts for future generations.
