Landscapes, portraits of homes and garden, your favourite blooms, human portraiture. animals, and our pets. I am an analogue artist: I feel people and craving non-AI work that reflects subjects that are meaningful for them. And, as a musician, (B.mus.UBC) I imbue my compositions with the same terms and elements, like rhythm, form, content, colour, employing physical and conceptual entities in both music and physics: By emulating nature the work can meaningfully touch the veiwer’s heart.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in realizing how infinitely connected we are: to each other, to nature and animals our planet, and currently how science is discovering the truths the mystics of the great traditions have described throughout history. Art marries empirical evidence with the spiritual world. That is why we make art and have forever. It’s like there is an inner force in us wanting to be absorbed, accepted, and loved by the universe.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this fund to prepare for an exhibit, purchase supplies and help me to navigate digital marketing; grow in my production, improve and experiment, expand my scope and competence, improve techniques and “get my work out there”. I have been working on commission for my career, and sadly, I have not had time to create work for myself. I would use this as seed money to create my own work and build stock and exhibit my work in exhibit spaces for sale.
