My favorite type of art isn’t confined to one medium—it’s anything that evokes raw emotion and deep expression. Art, to me, is about connection and feeling, whether through photography, music, or something as simple as a sketch. The diversity of creative media allows inspiration to exist everywhere, and I’m drawn to anything that tells a story or makes you feel something real.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in both the vast and the quiet moments—mountaintop views, snow-draped trees, and clouds rolling through forests, but also in the smallest details, like dew resting on a leaf. Beauty exists everywhere, yet it’s often overlooked. In a world filled with noise, choosing to notice those fleeting, beautiful moments is where my creativity begins.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were award the prize, it would open the door to the world. I would use it to travel—to step into new environments, experience different cultures, and immerse myself in perspectives far beyond my own. As an artist and photographthose experiences are invaluable. They shape how I see, how I feel, and ultimately how I create. Art, at its core, is about connection;capturing moments, emotions, and stories that transcend language. By exploring the world firsthand.
