It's fulfilling to bring something into the world that wasn't there before.

My top three are: films, photography, writing. I just had my first feature film, Savor, picked up for distribution by AppleTv. It was a truly incredible experience. I have been a photographer for most of my life. I like the idea of capturing a moment that will never exist again. I have been a writer my entire life. Ever since I could write, I began creating stories and characters. I find that all of these endeavors are symbiotic.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the mundane. Normal day-to-day life offers so much inspiration if you're looking at it the right way. Most of the film work I do is horror because there is nothing scarier than daily life.
What would you do with $25,000?First, I would take my wife on a much-deserved vacation. She is an incredible person, and, lately, we've had a string of unfortunate circumstances that have prevented us from traveling. Following that, I would use the remainder to start working on a new film.
