Collage helps me see. See connections. Connections within myself. Connections to our humanity. Collage helps me see differently. See anew.

I enjoy creating collage. Specifically analog collage using my own photography. I take photos, digitally manipulate them, print them, and then manipulate them again in physical form. I love to take a single image, create multiple digital versions, print them, and then physically transform them into dozens of unique works that can be shown individually or as a collection.
Where do you find inspiration? My art often feels like a Lou Reed song. Jarring yet true (and hopefully beautiful behind the grit). I find inspiration in my relationships. My art explores the nature of my relationships with those I love. It explores identity, sexuality, tension, and harmony within those relationships. It explores fixation, objectification, love, longing, and lust.
What would you do with $25,000?Produce a series of events that bring together visual artists, musicians, and writers to present original works around a specific theme. Each event producing a playlist of the music created, a catalog of the visual art produced, and a digest of the prose and poetry written.
