Art has been a passion of mine for 20 years, it helped me overcome hard times in my childhood and connect with the world in my own way.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I have experimented with wide variety of art, both traditional and digital. Lately I have been enjoying painting scenes with acrylics. I enjoy painting scenes that people can feel like they are connected to, perhaps a memory of the past. I also have fun making silly short videos with sketches I draw, that create a story to make people laugh.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from many sources such as experiences I have, whether good or bad there is always something to be created from personal life experiences. Also people I meet, and places in nature I visit, I have always felt a strong connection to nature and animals.
What would you do with $25,000?This past year I have been trying to make art my full time living. In 2025 I quit my day job, it has come with many challenges but I am very thankful for the art commissions and support I have received. I would use that money to help support my continuous artistic journey, visit my family out of state, and hopefully someday be able to build a community that creative people can thrive in. I was born in San Jose California and it would be awesome to visit my birth state at the exhibit!
