I have to pick a favorite?!? I love creating portrait work as doing portraits is capturing a part of history and having a conversation about who inspires me and shapes the world we share. I also love making pop art including my big eye art collection called the Lonely Girls. I am currently curating a Tarot deck for my Lonely Girl collection. Most of my art is created with color pencil as I love the attention to details. I always look forward to my Halloween inspired collection, 31 Days of Haunt.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from pretty much anywhere. I can find myself so inspired that I have more ideas than time will ever allow me to create from. My art often is inspired to create conversations or challenge a way of thinking. I have said before that I don't find inspiration, inspiration finds me and I hope that I do the muses justice and make them proud with the ideas that I turn into art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my art ambitions and fulfill goals that I have not yet been able to make come to fruition. I want to get my own website, invest in some public appearances like Comic-con or horror themed conventions, and jump start several books I've been working on. I would use the money to help me find new collectors and hopefully inspire others. $25,000 would change my life!
