I create to turn complex emotions into something visible—so others feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Honestly, I create anything wild and unconventional—work that makes people stop, look twice, and feel something real. I like pieces that pull up buried emotions and bring them to the surface, that make people feel seen, accepted, and a little more at home in themselves.
Where do you find inspiration?Within my own buried emotions. Day to day, we move through so many feelings that it’s hard to fully notice or sit with them in real time. So I “pin” mine instead—collecting them as they come—and then release them through my work. It becomes a way to unpack them honestly and let them exist at their fullest intensity, instead of letting them slip by unnoticed.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d invest it back into my craft so I can grow my work and expand what I’m able to create. That growth would let me pour more into the community around me—making better work, reaching more people, and building something that gives back in a meaningful way.
