Art is something I’ve done ever since I was a kid because it just brought me joy. I do it because it’s a part of me just like breathing.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love painting on skateboards. I find it hard have motivation to paint on anything else. I use to skateboard (I don’t anymore due to medical reasons) and I always loved the idea of personalizing my board, so I did. Others enjoyed them too and I’ve done many commissions. I love painting funky character designs with bright colors and thick black lines, as well as adding my style to any custom requests I get.
Where do you find inspiration?I am inspired by graffiti street art style, comic graphic styles, and anime art at times.
What would you do with $25,000?Primarily I would save it, but I can’t say I wouldn't use some of it. Such as paying for top surgery, and I deal with some chronic issues, medical bills can be quite expensive. Overall though, I’d save it for those scary rainy days.
