I create art to respect the 5-year-old within me, who sees magic and beauty everywhere he looks and wants to share it.

I adore found-object sculpture. You might call it minimalist assemblage, or just assembled sculpture. It allows me to both highlight beautiful found objects while also working with wood or steel.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the built world, in vintage mechanical works, and in the colors, textures, and patterns of natural decay.
What would you do with $25,000?There are three things I’d like to spend the money on: 1. An artist retreat, in which I can get away to an inspiring location to push my art further. 2. A larger studio space so I can work on bigger pieces more safely. 3. Materials. Always more materials!
