Typically acrylic paintings on canvas. My subject matter generally tends to be low-brow characterizations of concepts or phrases. Examples would be a characterized version of see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Ive also made pieces focusing on Carl Jung's shadow self, duality of spirit, or just characterized emotions.
Where do you find inspiration?I get inspiration from personal experiences, pop culture, well known sayings, sometimes from watching my daughter's as they grow older. I pull inspiration from anywhere and everywhere, and do my best to distill my experiences into my art work.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd launch a clothing brand and try to start using my art to make actual difference in the world. As it stands im just trying to make ends meet and out food on the table, but if I were able to get myself into a position of having a surplus of funds id try to make and sell work/prints and give portions of proceeds to causes that I believe in.
