My art is a way to portray my deepest feelings and callings. I want to change the way people think about themselves and each other.

Gritty, symbolic storytelling art I lean heavily into art that tells a story with deeper meaning. I gravitate to themes of truth, resilience, corruption, and redemption. My BassTurd Thread FD series is a perfect example: it’s not just visual, it’s narrative-driven with purpose. I favor bold, illustrated, almost cinematic comic-style visuals. Often exaggerated, satirical, and emotionally charged. Not clean superhero comics. More raw, expressive, and message-heavy.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from lived experience in military service, emergency response, and the human struggles within those worlds. I draw from childhood wounds and the belief they can be transformed into strength. Nature, especially the Adirondacks, grounds my work, while mythology and symbolism like fire, forging, and rebirth help me express the balance between hardship and hope.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25K into expanding Adirondack Spirit Leadership Forge by building mobile and on-site programs focused on mental health, leadership, and resilience for veterans, youth, and communities, especially front line service communities. This includes equipment, outreach, and pilot events. The return isn’t just financial it’s measured in stronger leaders, healthier communities, and a ripple effect of positive change.
