I create art to transform everyday spaces into places of wonder, connection, and reflection inspired by nature and community.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of work is site-responsive, outdoor installation—art that’s deeply connected to its environment. I’m inspired by the flora and fauna of each location, as well as the technologies and industries that shape the identity of a place. I’m especially drawn to weaving together elements of nature and the physical sciences, —bringing these worlds into one cohesive visual story. Each piece becomes a reflection of the community it lives in, capturing its character, history, and innovation.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the places where nature and environment tell a story. Living in the desert, I’m constantly drawn to the forms, textures, and resilience of local flora and fauna—the way they adapt and thrive in harsh conditions. Most of all, inspiration comes from the intersection of these elements—where nature, science, and human innovation overlap. That’s where I find the richest ideas and the strongest sense of connection to a community.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to expand and reconfigure my studio into a functional indoor workspace. Right now, I work out of a 190 sq ft garage and often rely on my driveway, where Phoenix temperatures exceed 100°F for months. Creating a larger, climate-controlled space would allow me to work more safely, consistently, and more comfortably.
