Metal art and Fine art. I’m a welder by trade, I’ve always loved it and wanted to work with my hands growing up. I also do drawings and silversmithing and dabble here and there with some photography (so I have reference for my drawings) or anything that really speaks to my soul. I kinda just like to dive in head first wether I’ve worked with a medium before or not and just put 110% of my effort into it to create.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it from all over the place, honestly. My mind Is constantly in motion and has ideas, I like to make anything from tools and jigs that help me on my welding jobs to drawing pictures of singers like Sturgill Simpson whos music just inspires and sparks something within me. My latest hyperfixation is working with silver and creating a beautiful rosary that came to me in a dream in collaboration with another amazing artist, Millán Iglesias Garcia, from the mountains of Spain.
What would you do with $25,000?I would probably put it towards our savings for a house. My husband and I have been saving for years for a home and we’re ready to take that next step of building a family.
