I create to turn metal and stone into small enchanted relics, where story, nature and imagination meet.

My favorite type of art to create is soft soldered jewelry. It’s like painting but with metal, where my soldering iron is the brush and the bench my canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration in nature. I have always been particularly moved by flowers and often use flora in my design concepts. I always pull from a well of emotions, frequently alchemising things like grief and pain to transmute them into something beautiful and with much less jagged edges.
What would you do with $25,000?That’s a number that’s hard to imagine, but I know I would invest in higher quality tools and I’d also invest in sharpening my skills. I’d definitely build a small studio to create out of after having lost mine in my divorce…that studio meant a great deal to me and was my safe haven. I’d collaborate with other artists, strengthen my branding, and finally be able to pay it forward amongst other creatives.
