Representational/realistic oil paintings
Where do you find inspiration?Everyday life objects exhibited across shared human cultures. I find and research objects from history and pop culture that I love to look at. Saturated and muted color relationships are fun to explore through composition and lighting, which I can organize to create a particular mood.
What would you do with $25,000?Everything I can to push my art towards the next level of professionalism. I am an emerging fine artist and have large student loans. I found my voice in oil painting - not the most affordable medium, so I always need paint, brushes and substrates (panels and canvasses). I would also be able to put money into packages for galleries and online, to support my paintings being scene.
