Art is who I am. I wouldn’t know life without it. I grew up creating imaginative drawings and now I do it for a living.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My imagination spills out onto the paper with colorful pen strokes and refined pencil shading. As an artist for The Grateful Dead, I love the irony of creating skeletons that are inspirational and joyful. I enjoy illustrating in pencil, charcoal, pen and mixed media. I enjoy incorporating a vibrant array of colors to make each art piece really jump off of the page!
Where do you find inspiration?I have witnessed for myself how art can ground the mind, uplift the spirit during difficult times and connect people across the globe. I am constantly inspired by the artwork of others and so humbled to be a part of the worldwide art community. People truly are amazing creatures.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to bring together the artists in my community. My home is a modest tiny home cottage and I would love to build an outdoor art studio to not only allow myself the space to create art but to also offer local art shows to showcase the amazing art of others. Being gifted with an artistic mind is a blessing and having the opportunity to share this creativity with others would be a full circle experience for me as an artist. Thank you for this opportunity to share my experience with you.
