I turn emotion into something visible capturing raw, in-between moments that aren’t perfect, but deeply real and felt.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to photography that feels honest, raw, and human. The kind that lives in the in-between unposed, imperfect, and full of emotion. I don’t chase perfection; I chase connection. I want people to see themselves not as they think they should be, but as they are layered, evolving, and real.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life. The quiet, overlooked moments most people pass by. A glance, a pause, the way someone holds themselves when they think no one is watching. Real life isn’t staged, and that’s where the beauty lives. My work is shaped by lived experience, emotion, and the stories people carry.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand access to sensory-aware portrait sessions for the differently abled community. This funding would support adaptive equipment, accessible studio improvements, and outreach to families who often feel excluded from traditional photography spaces. My goal is to create a safe, flexible environment where everyone is seen, respected, and represented with dignity.
