The fantasy and tremendous detail of dragons has always fascinated me. I love painting a mighty dragon and getting absolutely lost in the detail of the scales. Only two things in the world make everything else fade away and only then, do I truly immerse myself. The two thing being: fixing cars and airbrushing/painting. However, getting focused on a dragon is definitely my favorite of all time and my favorite type of art to create. Especially airbrushing dragons onto motorcycle parts!
Where do you find inspiration?Join me on a journey into the eerie woods of a Renaissance Faire in New England, where we find ourselves wandering around looking for artwork amongst the booths. It was there I found my mentor for life of, going on 13 years now. The one who encourages me and supports me in all my efforts and advises me. The one who also greatly inspired me to begin airbrushing 13 years ago. Things would have been so much different without him and I know I am eternally grateful for his mentorship.
What would you do with $25,000?If I was honored and blessed with $25,000, I would use it to help open up my own shop! Most of my shop would be dedicated to airbrushing and custom paint work! Contrary to the clean environment of painting, I'm still going to need AT LEAST two lifts to be able to wrench on cars when painting season gets slow in New England. I have been a full time mechanic for 11 years now and paint evenings and weekends. It has always been my dream and goal to open up my own shop one day.
