My work is currently exploring ambiguity as it relates to the human condition. I am exploring the finite line between pareidolia and the actual recognition of human faces. I like to walk the line between reality and dream-like pieces to imbue the viewer with a sense of wonder.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the way light attaches to a girl, people with extreme features, music lyrics, the sun as it rises, or sets, long, deep conversations with friends, and the sense that my time left on the planet is finite.
What would you do with $25,000?I would make more art and I would attend the opening of the show.
