To paint on canvas, to express the feeling I feel with the moment. The freedom to create what’s in my mind, from the brain to the hand. It’s magical, it’s amazing to express what you feel. It’s heartwarming to see people’s reactions to what one creates. I like to make a person feel that they are a part of the painting, that they are walking down that path, or fishing in the brook. To see nature, to take it all in. To sit on top of the mountain and take in the whole world. I love what I do.

The woods, the trees, the forest, the moss, the streams, the whispers of the fog, the early mist, the sun light sneaking through the trees, the sometimes silence, and birds, the wildlife, the babbling brook, the smell of the soil. Children running, playing and old country farms, playing in the hay and riding on the hay wagon, look around you there is inspiration everywhere.

I have never had that much money all at once, I drive a 26 year old automobile, I would probably put it in the bank and keep it for emergencies! I’m 71 years old I do not need much.
