My favorite art comes soulfully from my imagination. No ideas, no concept. Just slap down the paints and let the magic happen quite by mistake. As I work the canvas familiar shapes appear and I emphasize them into somewhat familiar forms... the painting takes shape as I follow the direction it takes me... echoing those brush strokes throughout until the magic appears. I love that surprise at the end! Did I just make that!! Hahaaa
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the daily walks of life, online fumbling through reels on Instagram or YouTube. Grabbing little bits of information subconsciously and inspiration comes naturally.
What would you do with $25,000?Pay off my car loan and buy loads of art supplies to keep me painting for months and months on end. Take my mom shopping as she is in need of a new tv stand and she would love some landscaping done in her yard. The rest I would save.
