I love how creating art centers me—the focus, patience, and emotion poured into every detail makes the process feel powerful and alive.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite form of art is acrylic painting and drawing portraits, whether of others or myself. I love capturing emotion, detail, and individuality through every brushstroke and line. Creating portraits allows me to connect deeply with my subjects and express perspectives that words often can’t. The process takes patience and intention, and I value every moment it takes to bring each piece to life.
Where do you find inspiration? My inner child would want me to experience freedom, creativity, and joy, so I paint and express myself in the way I feel she would. Through every color and brushstroke, I reconnect with her imagination and honesty. Creating art becomes a safe space where I can feel, explore, and heal, honoring the parts of me that once dreamed without limits and still deserve to be seen and heard.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to fund a Las Vegas painting project that brings families together through creativity and self-expression. The funds would cover supplies, spaces, and outreach to ensure accessibility for all. This project would create a safe, inspiring environment for connection and healing, with the long-term goal of growing into a nonprofit that supports families through art and community engagement.
