I love to create art for the fact that i am "creating" and not destroying. Im giving life to an object that was at one time a blank space.

I prefer to paint it gives me a sense of an other worldly connection. I am able to meditate and the subject matter from a different perspective. Im a self taught artist and see things from a unique vantage point. I believe in dreams coming true, ive had 2 come true, winning this would be number 3 for me. Painters stand the test of time, but i can do just about any form of art, dad said i had a masters hands, he passed away that day from Covid19Delta. He knew my dreams would come true. An they do
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in people who are fearless. The famous who know reinvention, to me it shows a quality that stands the test of time. Cher and Dolly are my muses, i paint human and still life. A recent portrait of Wayne Smith dressed as Cher from Dallas TX, Ive had the honor of meeting Dolly, chatting with Cher many times. I find inspiration in the way the world shows its sincronicities large to small i can paint it all. I find inspiration w/ those who use their voice and ones who dont have one
What would you do with $25,000?I would refresh supplies and relocate as i had planned with a bit of a security blanket and go to the places where the creative energy is the most strong and the stories that long to be told are made immortal in acrylic or oil. I am able to draw energy from far away but the closer i am to the source of beauty the more productive and interesting my stories in paint are. An i would make sure to get someone to protect my interest in a legal sense so i can create and keep my unique style my own.
