I love to create because I am human! We come together in ways that are both new, and as old as fire, with humans gathering around it.

As both an artist and a clinical hypnotherapist, I create work that affects the mental state of the viewer, quieting the thinking mind and promoting an experience of fascination. Turning off the chatter allows deeper, more creative aspects of consciousness to come forward. It’s almost addictive, in a good way. The more time you can spend in a flow state, the better. Watch clouds. Watch the ocean. Watch these animations!
Where do you find inspiration?Art functions automatically on a subconscious level. I love art that is evocative, that creates a ‘Ping!’ or a ‘Pop!’ in my brain. I find it in many places–in the films of Christopher Nolan and Stanley Kubrick, the writing of Kurt Vonnegut, the music of Stevie Wonder and Peter Gabriel. Your brain wants to make sense out of what you are experiencing, and connect the dots. You can’t help it. I see this experience contributing in a small way to an evolution of human consciousness. We are becoming!
What would you do with $25,000?I would give as many people as possible an opportunity to change the pace, breathe and experience wonder. I would put this artwork in hospital waiting rooms and airport lounges – places where people are spending time and are often stressed. I would explore how interactivity and immersive experiences might increase engagement. I would do more and share widely!
