I like to experiment with the ethereal qualities of light. My photographs capture motion and time, straight in-camera, but still in a dream.

A combination of analog and digital photography.
Where do you find inspiration?Portraits of newfound acquaintances in obscure or quiet places, during the magic hour and at night. I also like being a participant during the image making process, illuminating the environment over the course of time which is easier when the ambient light is low. An apparition of myself may accompany the subjects. It is a documentation of long time duration frozen in a moment, what I call a transient continuum, that most interests me.
What would you do with $25,000?Buy time and cover travel expenses to expand reach for my documentary work. It has been a dream of mine to document all "off the grid" utopian communal groups from around North America still active today. It would be best to be a participant in order to create significant and meaningful work, especially in the technical style that I require.
