I love creating art from imagination, found materials, and empty space. In flow state, time disappears—it feels like magic.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to create is with driftwood. I’m drawn to the forms nature has shaped over time—etched by abrasive shores down to the fibres, revealing raw muscle and tendon-like textures. I love honouring that natural history and transforming it into something expressive and alive.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration is found in nature. Growing up on the West Coast, the shoreline has always offered an abundance of unique natural forms. Sometimes it’s a single piece that catches my attention and feels familiar—I build from that spark.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this $25,000 towards a larger studio workspace , equipped with proper ventilation system
