I love the process of working with the human figure and the feeling that comes from confident messy lines.

I'm a writer first so screenwriting is what I prefer to do. I write stories about outsiders, losers or people on the edge. One story is about a naive superhero who dreams of superhero greatness but instead succeeds in the opposite. Another story is about a female artist pursuing her crush and artstardom to escape her small town. And right now I’m making a comedy series for YouTube that is a morning chat show with a narcissistic chat show host.
Where do you find inspiration?British theatre, Takashi Miike films, Bret Ellis, Egon Schiele, Conan O’Brian and Charli XCX.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use the money to finish my film projects faster. I’ve put nine years into making films without real money, which basically feels like trying to turn straw into gold. Life in general is difficult right now but I am close to success, if I had money I’d get there faster.
