Art is how I process life. It’s how I move through the heavy stuff. It’s the one thing that worked when nothing else did.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite work is creating magic—taking real moments I’ve lived and turning them into something others can step into. I want people to step into my imagination, interact with it, and feel something real. If it sparks a memory, a feeling, or a sense of wonder, then the piece has done its job.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in discarded things. What others throw away, I see as treasure—pieces of forgotten stories waiting to live again. I was the kid who played with the box, turning it into a world. I still do that now, rebuilding memory and meaning through my work. Creating helps me carry joy forward instead of pain.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in tools that let me build my original designs faster and at a higher level. I love working with salvaged materials, but the right equipment lets me scale without losing the soul of the work. As digital and AI-driven creation accelerates output, this would help me stay competitive while continuing to create real, hands-on experiences.
