Art allows me to find meaning, sustenance, & joy in life. Creating art is a gift from God, and I seek to express God's beauty by way of art.

As I am prolific in a variety of disciplines, I would find it hard to limit myself to just one form or type of art - for example, I am also a recognized composer/musician in the field of ambient/electronic music. I consider myself fortunate to be able to express my work in so many forms and formats: Abstract watercolor painting I stumbled into by accident. My photographic endeavors place emphasis on the natural world - I am in awe of how God expresses itself there.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is where you find it: a walk on the beach at sunset, a chamber ensemble concert, an unexpected downpour, observing fireflies at night - the sources of inspiration are everywhere. For me, it's not so much a matter of finding inspiration, as it is discovering ways to channel inspiration into something artful. Every day that I live and breathe, the opportunities for inspiration are almost endless - the challenge is learning how to appreciate and tap into it.
What would you do with $25,000?Having the financial resources to expand my creative outreach would be ideal. Being part of a larger consortium of artist spaces is one strategy. The other would be to create some type of "tiny house" to create and exhibit my work in. My mind is flooded with a variety of creative outlets and projects - a financial infusion of capital could open the doors to make a number of projects both feasible and coalesce.
