When a culture losses its artists (and art), insanity ensues. We’re now in critical mass lossage. For everyone’s sanity, can I not?
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Literature and cinema percipience. (Direct presence) Cinema is the Master Art. It encompasses portion of all other arts within itself. Celluloid, composition depth of field and story. With the most critical components being acting and editing.
Where do you find inspiration?Being raised in Detroit in the 70’s, live rock shows shaped my ascetic very early. (Perhaps too early) 🫵🏻 In 1969 my mother, a writer herself, took me to the local theatre to see Kubrick’s 2001. She sat me in the 2nd row, center stage, and then sat in the very back. The experience inspired and coloured my perceptions of all art to this very day. Hum, what else? 1978 Cobo Hall. Front row center stage. Bob Marley and the Wailers. DNA permanently altered.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use it to resurrect my wife’s erotic, burlesque and oddity (Finnish) stage production Circus Mystique. https://youtube.com/@miamagia?si=cPziX8_R-tp0r3aA
