My art is the most honest part of my self. Not only true in form and function, but true as an expression of my being.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
When I was in school they said an artist goes to the end of their mind and jumps off. My favorite art is make is created in this place. It doesn’t matter the medium it matters the place it comes from. For me it’s the openness that creativity flows thru. I choose clay as a way to express myself. I find that clay is fluid in a way that reflects what you see in your dreams. My process is to make and sell as many things as possible hoping that creativity will appear. Apparently it’s not on demand
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the nobility of the human spirit. Against all odds there is courage. In the rubble and despair there is love In the face of power there is truth. My work is rather simple, and based in the traditions of pottery. My inspirations are reflected in items of use, and daily ritual
What would you do with $25,000?Enhance the the impact of the things I'm working on.
