I love large scale, acrylic painting. I love to work in a fast pace and not have to wait for paint to dry.I work spontaneously and everything becomes a meditation. The physicality of working on large scale pieces challenges me. I am exhausted mentally and physically with each painting.
Where do you find inspiration?I’ve studied art history all my life. I find inspiration in all forms of art, especially from ancient civilizations. Contemporary artist such as Rothko, Robert Rauschenberg , Jasper Johns, and Sterling Ruby to name a few.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in a larger studio, first of all. Invest in marketing and reaching out to more galleries. Travel to New York, Los Angeles, Paris and several cities in China.
