My art is healing and I create it for the love of the process. I also use recycled media to create my art while cleaning the beaches.

Assemblage art is my preferred artistic expression. In my creations, I meticulously assemble various pieces without altering any of them. I approach the process as a puzzle, ensuring that each piece seamlessly connects to the next to form the cohesive design. I meticulously arrange all the pieces I discover in front of me and engage in a systematic process of stacking them together. For my Seaglass nightlights, I utilize a nightlight base and carefully cut it down to establish a stable platform
Where do you find inspiration? My artistic process is deeply inspired by nature and the transformation of found materials into meaningful works of art. I am primarily moved by the unique colors, shapes, and textures created by the ocean, which naturally refines my medium over decades. Beyond the aesthetic qualities of my work, I value the healing environment and clean ocean air associated with my creative process. Furthermore, I aim to inspire others to view discarded materials as potential art, promoting recycling.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to establish my platform for disseminating my message and artistic endeavors. My objective is to extend my reach and inspire others to preserve pristine beaches by encouraging and teaching others to create recycled art. My primary focus is on creating ocean-themed pieces as a means of self-improvement for both my physical and mental well-being while sharing my creative energy and beach life.
