I make art, specifically, I paint portraits of people because to me it is the opposite act of war. I paint because the world has enough pain
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I paint people in a sensitive way to capture who they are as best I can. I paint oil paintings in the way they applied paint 150 years ago in the traditional style of realism, because we live in a world now that has been losing this ability to see with our eyes what is human and what is AI.
Where do you find inspiration? My children have been my most inspiring muses, but lately I have been painting people in my local community and bringing out a kind of mythology that surrounds us in the woods and in the night life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy more oil paint, more brushes and likely start an atelier to teach more people how to continue the tradition of oil painting. Make art not war.
