I created this space in rented basement room of a home in Saint Paul Mn. All reused, discount, or used items I repurposed or changed.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create beauty in spaces that people can truly live in using used furnishings , recycled fabrics, trims, end lots, paints, recycled item's and special details that make spaces more memorable. Artful living does not require much money but rather imagination.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. The internet, books, magazines, thrift stores, eBay, movies, music, traveling. I will visualize something and spend hours researching and hunting, thinking, obsessing, creating, building, painting, sewing, wallpapering. I love finding discarded items and reusing them. Discounted wall coverings or fabrics, used furniture, old dishes, lighting, decorative items.
What would you do with $25,000?It would also help me better share my work with the world and reach clients who value beauty, craftsmanship, and originality. I would love the opportunity to work on a grand English country house, a French château, or even help shape the character of a boutique hotel. At heart, I want to create beauty that people can truly live in through interiors, furnishings, entertaining, and special details that make life feel richer and more memorable based in artistic vision and imagination.
