What is your favorite type of art to create?

I’m drawn to both fluid painting and detailed graphite work—two contrasting but deeply connected forms. Fluid art allows me to release control and let movement, color, and emotion lead. In contrast, my drawings require stillness, patience, and precision. Together, they reflect the balance I explore within myself: chaos and calm, surrender and intention. Both processes become a language for expressing what words often cannot.

Where do you find inspiration?

My inspiration comes from lived experience—especially moments of transformation, vulnerability, and emotional depth. I’m moved by the complexities of human connection, both its presence and its absence. Music, movement, and quiet reflection often guide me, but most of all, inspiration finds me in the in-between moments—where something breaks, shifts, and begins again.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would create the work I once needed—art that holds space for grief, transformation, and the quiet rebuilding of self. This support would allow me to fully step into my voice and create without restraint, turning deeply personal experiences into something universal and seen. I would share this work through an immersive exhibit designed not just to be viewed, but felt—inviting others to reflect, reconnect, and recognize themselves within it. Because art, at its core, reminds us we’re not alone.
