I love creating all different forms & mediums of art. Art has helped me in so many ways to be able to get through some very difficult times & allows me to be able to fully express myself. Some mediums that I enjoy, exploring are drawing, sketching, graphite, charcoal, painting, photography, & videography. I enjoy working with a wide range of materials primarily graphite, charcoal & pastel all hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy the tactile ability to blend with my hands.
Where do you find inspiration?Everything & anything around you can inspire & influence one’s own personal artwork. Everyday life, such as family, friends, nature, personal experiences, people, & the buildings & environment that surround all around you. Art is all around us in the world. I love to be able to create & express myself through my art work.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had the amazing opportunity to win this prize it would truly help me a lot. I am currently getting my Masters of Arts in Communications. I have my Bachelors in Music & Art & Art History with a Concentration in Studio Art & Digital Media & Content Creation. After Graduation I am planning on becoming an Art Teacher. I wish to open my own small Art Studio & help others find their love & passion for art as well. This prize will really help me financially and allow me to further my education.
