Creating art is a way I confide with myself. It’s a dialogue between me and my materials. That’s a companionship that’ll never reject.

My favorite is the kind that evokes wonder from confusion. I like to work with ethereal and moody aesthetics to provide a sense of safety in emotions that are too heavy or too unique to pinpoint.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from various artists on socials like @pants.v and @ty200641. I’m a constant seeker of media from museums to local venues and even observing architecture in neighborhoods.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d sustain my personal practice alongside completing my degree as I build toward my business venture of an artist run space where creatives can gather, experiment, and feel safe pursing their ideas. I see art as something nurtured in community. Therefore I’d also pursue traveling as a method of research. As I discover my own voice, I don’t mean to look inward but outward in a global context. I look forward to engaging with new people, ideas, and ways of imaging what art can do for others.
