I mask my art as a form of realism to pull the viewer in where perhaps they experience the spirit beyond the ‘’real’. I am using paint to explore the essence of everyday places and objects. What illuminates them from within is the eternal question.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is everywhere. It exist in how the light falls upon this world, every thing I look at reveals its unique place on this earth. My job is to notice, appreciate and inspire the viewer to do the same.
What would you do with $25,000?I would do what I always do. Keep my head down and keep painting. The money would be an affirmation of my life’s journey.
