I create rock sculptures and mixed-media pieces centered around natural heart-shaped stones. Each piece begins with a rock that speaks to me—something I feel before I understand. These stones have been part of my healing journey over the past 18 months, and every creation carries that energy forward into something beautiful and meaningful.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration starts with a feeling. Sometimes it’s a single stone, sometimes an unexpected object, but it always pulls something from within me first. I build from that emotion, allowing each piece to tell its own story. Every creation becomes a reflection, a message, or a moment of connection for someone who may need it.
What would you do with $25,000?When I win the $25,000, I'm going back home to where my heart and soul lives, the NC mountains. It will also allow me to help other trauma survivors to heal through art and reflection.
