I create digital Indigenous art on my iPad, using it as a tool to bring Nuu-chah-nulth teachings into a modern form. My work is inspired by the land, ocean, and the stories passed down through generations. Through digital design, I am able to transform these teachings into visual storytelling that can be shared widely and carried into everyday life through prints, clothing, and custom designs.

I find inspiration in the land, the ocean, and the animals that carry our teachings. I am guided by my Nuu-chah-nulth culture, the stories of my ancestors, and my role as a mother and cultural carrier. Everyday life, healing, and the strength of our people also shape my work. Everything is connected, and I draw from that connection to create art that carries meaning forward.

I would use $25,000 to invest in equipment, supplies, and inventory so I can grow my art business from home and expand my product line. I would also take advanced art and business courses to strengthen my skills and build sustainably. This support would allow me to reach wider audiences, create more opportunities, and continue sharing Nuu-chah-nulth teachings through my work for future generations.
