Costumes of varying time periods and nationalities, most recently, the figure in the kimono, classic subject for artists past and present. I have painted people of different skin tones, a diverse rainbow of complexions.
Where do you find inspiration?I'm fascinated to look at people and how they dress, everywhere I go, and vintage clothing shops are a great source for props and costumes. And, I'm not shy to ask a person to model for me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would improve the lighting in my studio, of course invest in new art materials and take some time off from teaching my private art classes in order to concentrate on my fine art, then organize a solo show with my new pieces.
