I suffer from C-PTSD; Creating allows me to work through my thoughts and emotions; to bring Light, Love and Peace into my part of the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Stained glass; I sketch my own designs, create the pattern from the sketch and create it in glass. I also create either a pendulum or a chain for each person I create a glass piece for. I use crystals, charms, tiny bottles adorned with bent wire designs and crystal beads to fill with crystal chips to represent the person I am creating for and their present life situation.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the energies of those close to me in my life. Every piece I have ever made I made as gifts for friends and relatives I have severe Ankylosing Spondylitis and osteoarthritis; my hands are deformed from the OA inspiring me to create a series of delicate, beautiful women’s hands. I use chains, carved crystals, handmade pendulums, etc to hang from them.
What would you do with $25,000?I began building my stained glass studio in my detached garage 8 months ago after my father and my big brother died suddenly. I am almost done with the first floor and now want to complete the loft. I would complete my studio build for my Granddaughters and I to create art projects together.
